The evidence
This includes the following fields of inquiry:
Near death experiences: Together with Out of the Body Experiences are usually seen as the strongest supporting evidence that there is life after death. There are direct phenomenological data, supporting this evidence.

Apparitions: Many of the apparitions are collectively perceived, that is to say by two persons or more at the same time, and the apparition is seen according to the position one has in space, one sees the front of the face, the other the profile, which indicates an objective occurrence.

Silver cord: If astral projectors descriptions of a “silver cord” which united the “double” to the physical body should prove to be the actual state of affairs, then these “doubles” would be sights of something objectively present at the place where they are perceived.

Deathbed visions: A phenomenon reported by a dying person who claims to see or otherwise be aware of dead relatives or friends.

Reincarnation research: Ian Stevenson’s research gives strong supporting evidence for reincarnation.

Qualia: While qualia are related to physical brain-states; they are not identical to brain states. Qualia are non-physical. They are directly or immediately perceived by the soul, which is distinct from the body.

Telepathy: Telepathy is considered to be the normal means of communication in the afterlife.

Clairvoyance: Clairvoyance is considered to be the normal means of visual perception in the afterlife.

Mediumistic communication: The ability to receive communication from a spirit. The most famous being Socrates who received messages from a spirit guide. Cross-correspondences by which a medium will receive a fragmentary message that will make no sense until it is combined with other fragmentary messages received by other mediums, are considered the best evidence relating to mediumistic communication that there is a disembodied consciousness communicating.

Automatic painting/ speaking/ writing: Painting, speaking or writing that is not done consciously or intentionally, but nevertheless with purpose and intelligence. This interpreted by some as communication by spirits.

Creative process: The facts reported almost universally in every field of creativity are that this process is directed by an outside force. Sometimes it’s called inspiration and is indistinguishable from extrasensory perception.

Mystical experiences: The ecstatic state in which one communicates or is one with a higher non-physical reality.

Primary and secondary qualities: The secondary properties like color, sound and so on, are primary properties in the higher world spaces. The idea is that all subjective experiences like color, sound, emotions etcetera are not properties of the brain but are properties of subtle energies.

The aura: The totality of subtle, non-physical energy fields that surround and penetrate the physical body. These subtle, non-physical energy fields constitute the soul.

The chakra’s: Points where the soul interacts with the body.

Consciousness research: Consciousness is a state of awareness. This state is not identical to brain states. Consciousness is non-physical.
Erwin Schrödinger: “Consciousness cannot be accounted for in physical terms. For consciousness is absolutely fundamental. It cannot be accounted for in terms of anything else.” Quoted in The Observer (11 January 1931); also in Psychic Research (1931), Vol. 25, p. 91.

Psychokinesis: The direct influence of the mind on an external physical system or object without the intermediation of any known physical energy.

Paranormal produced changes in photographic emulsion: These cannot be explained by normal optical processes, and indicates the ideoplastic capacity of the human spirit, the power to effect subtle energies in an ontological higher world.

Philosophical dualism/ pluralism: “In philosophy of mind, dualism is the position that mental phenomena are, in some respects, non-physical, or that the mind and body are not identical. Thus, it encompasses a set of views about the relationship between mind and matter, and is contrasted with other positions, such as physicalism, in the mind–body problem.” (Wikipedia)

Hylic pluralism: Hylic Pluralism, from “hyle” or “matter”, is the philosophical view accepting a plurality within matter, i.e. subdivisions conceived as a multiplicity of layers of matter, from ordinary (coarse) to finer, subtle strata of decreasing density. Hence, besides the gross, physical form of matter (known to conventional science), there is also the presence of various subtle forms or layers of matter. Each layer accommodates the expression of certain higher functions of consciousness, like physical action, emotion, concrete thought, abstract thought, intuition and mystical states. These higher levels of matter are the functional basis of the different levels of consciousness.

Mind-body problem: Is still the most central problem in philosophy. The classic question of how the soul is connected with the body.

Cosmological fine-tuning: In cosmology, fine-tuning refers to the precise balance of cosmological constants that allow the observable universe to exist as it does. These constants include the speed of light, the rate of expansion of the universe, the force of gravity, the nuclear strong force, the electromagnetic force, and many other parameters of the observable universe. It is claimed that these constants exist in such a state of precise equilibrium that any variation to their values would have resulted in a drastically different universe. The fine tuning argument states that these values occurring in such a precise state by mere chance is highly improbable, and that there must have been a transcendent force or forces to fine tune these values in order for our universe to exist as it does and for life to exist on Earth.

Akashic field: A field of information as the substance of the cosmos. the Sanskrit term for “space”, Akasha is the information field the “Akashic field”. It assumed that it is this fundamental energy and information-carrying field that informs the universe. László describes how such an informational field can explain why our universe appears to be fine-tuned so as to form galaxies and conscious lifeforms; and why evolution is an informed, not random, process.

Higher ontological worlds: The heavens as a religious concept, refer to a cosmological, or transcendent place where heavenly beings originate, or live. It is commonly believed that heavenly beings can descend to earth or incarnate and that earthly beings can ascend to heaven in the afterlife or in exceptional cases, enter heaven alive. Heaven is often described as a “higher place”, the holiest place, a Paradise. This traditional belief finds its support in the Out of the Body Experiences.

Difference between human and artificial intelligence: If humans have a soul, than artificial intelligence /computers will lack some qualities which humans have, which do belong to the soul, such as consciousness and understanding.

Quantum Theory: Within quantum mechanics one finds the theory that consciousness, a non-material factor, collapses the wavefunction. Micro-telekinesis.

David Bohm’s ontological interpretation of quantum theory: David Bohm’s explicate order and Implicate orders describe a framework in which the explicate order refers to the physical world and Implicate orders refer to the ontologically higher non-physical worlds The implicate orders, also referred to as the “enfolded” order, is seen as a deeper and more fundamental order of reality.

These fields of inquiry on their own can’t be taken as evidence for life after death, but in conjunction, the overall data provide powerful supporting evidence.
It is the strength of everything put together. rather than looking at everything in isolation.
