(phenomenology)

In Christianity but also in other traditions, there is the concept of heaven and hell. But while this is based upon out of the body experiences, it is mixed up with mythology, theological speculation, metaphorical language and overstatements, with very little direct phenomenological data.

The out of the body experiences do give information about the conditions of the surroundings after death and the area where on goes to after one leaves the physical body behind.

The motives, desires, thought patterns, feelings, habits, and anxieties all generate the aura energies. It is these aura energies and especially the kind and quality of these aura energies that determines the area where a person goes to after death. Someone who has a certain kind of energy within his or her aura, will go to an area where there are similar kinds of energies. This happens because the mental body will be attracted to places where there are energies that correspond and react to corresponding energies. This however does not exclude the possibility that people with energies of different quality can communicate with each other or even visit each other. This is possible because these worlds are, to quote A.P.Shepherd:

“…….are dimensional levels and are not separate regions, specially divided from one other, so that it would be necessary to move in space in order to pass from one to another. The highest worlds completely interpenetrate the lower worlds”.

Two persons can have a different energy level, and therefore may function at different levels of existence, but nevertheless can be at the same place. Because there is a direct relation between the aura energies and the area, the region, the level of existence where one goes to after death, one can, when one purifies one’s mind (and thus one’s aura energies) ascend to a higher level of existence. The energies of different levels of existence (neither the lower or the higher) cannot affect or influence someone, unless this person has something that resonates with these energies. This has some resemblance to the idea that people of different moral level, after death go to different regions. (The hell, purgatory and heaven idea). But the orthodox hell and the orthodox heaven are theological constructions. This absolutistic dichotomy is based upon traditional concepts from Egypt, which had a great influence on Christian theology, but weren’t based upon direct perceptions of the super-sensory worlds. Regarding to negative out of the body experiences, they are but a small minority. To reside at the lower levels of existence after death, is not the result of some kind of punishment inflicted on a sinner by some nasty supreme being, but a purification of patterns, habits and so on. It isn’t eternal but temporarily, and the ascending to higher levels of existence is even inevitable. This is because, while the higher level energies are more difficult to develop, when they are developed they are more permanent, more lasting than lower level energies.
