The supersensible worlds have an energy aspect and a shape aspect. The energy aspect of these worlds is seen in the subtle energies. Each level of existence (David Bohm’s implicate orders) has its own different kind of subtle energies. These are spatial extended fields, waves, sphere shaped, oval shaped configurations that consist of cloudlike concentrations of coloured particles. The shape / form aspect of these worlds have to do with objects which are located in the supersensible worlds. This space is occupied by:
- three dimensional objects,
- which have a location and orientation in space,
- have size,
- have properties such as colour, structure and substance.
There is a mutual relation between these objects. The mind creates its own world, which it generates in this space because of the ideoplastic nature of these supersensible worlds.
Shape generating takes place in every supersensible world. In the lower worlds this happens at a subconscious level, but in the higher worlds the mind on a conscious level gets control over this process.
That this world looks very much like the physical world, with structures such as parks, buildings and so on, is because the ideoplastic forming is mainly on the basis of on images that are stored within memory. There is stability and consistency of the surroundings. Once structures have taken shape, they do remain the same for a long time. This supersensible worlds have their own space which is different from the physical world, although there is a spatial relation with the physical world. However what one does see from the physical world, from this supersensible worlds is not the physical matter, but an astral duplicate, which is for a great part identical, coincides spatial with the physical world. A transition to another level of existence because they interpenetrate each other, is not necessarily a spatial translocation.
